Janine Salzman Fine Art

CONTEMPORARY IMPRESSIONIST

Thank you for viewing my online gallery. I am a California Impressionist painter of seascapes, figures, and still life. I love to experience new cultures and travel often. I may paint an image from Italy one day, and another from San Juan Capistrano the next! My subject matters are derived from a fascination with light or by a mood I am attempting to reveal. Hope you enjoy my paintings!

"I have come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist and that there are as few as there are any other great artists. Teaching might even be the greatest of the arts since the medium is the human mind and spirit".

- John Steinbeck"

"Good paintings are a more satisfying companions than the best of books"
